This option is required when running in ASCII mode on Norwegian systems where the standard transliteration has been modified. If the option is needed then typically you will see data displayed in incorrect locations on the screen; a correct setup in this case will often be achieved by setting this option, choosing 'international' as your main 3270/5250 transliteration, and NOR as your transliteration in the keyboard setup menu.
