Choose a name for your new configuration and type the IP address of your host system. The IP address may be a numeric address of the form 129.1.1.150, or a symbolic name (such as www.gar.no). If you need to connect to a port other than the default, this may be added to the end of the address, using a colon (:) to separate it from the rest of the address. For example, to connect to port 1311 you should specify 129.1.1.150:1311 or www.gar.no:1311.

If you are using the multi-emulation version of Glink, you can also choose terminal emulation and host communication protocol for the configuration.

Tap Save when you're done, or tap Cancel to return to the Configurations screen without creating a new configuration.

Repeat the process to configure more host systems. For IBM and VT hosts you may now be ready to go, but for Bull host systems and some IBM hosts you have to go to Menu > Settings to configure Ggate/TNVIP/TN3270/TN5250 protocol options before you can connect to your host system. This is also the place to go if you need to modify the IP address of your host system.
