blockmode

Block mode is a method used by VIP terminals to transmit large amounts of data in separate pieces rather than in a single large block. The size of the block is defined by the host. GLINK will then send the first piece of data and wait for a TNB (transmit next block) command from the host before transmitting subsequent blocks. Each partial block of data (except for the last) is terminated with an ETB character rather than an ETX character.
