Create a new session configuration to access a given host or host application. Please note that you can create several session configurations to access the same host but differant application. In the latter case you can create a connect macro that takes you directly to a given host application.

Choose a name
Choose a name for your new configuration.

IP address
Type the IP address of your host system. The IP address may be a numeric address of the form 129.1.1.150, or a symbolic name (such as www.gar.no). If you need to connect to a port other than the default, this may be added to the end of the address, using a colon (:) to separate it from the rest of the address. For example, to connect to port 1311 you should specify 129.1.1.150:1311 or www.gar.no:1311.

Emulation
If you are using the multi-emulation version of Glink, select the desired emulation.

Protocol
If you are using the multi-emulation version of Glink, select the desired protocol.

Codepage
If you are using the IBM5250 version of Glink, select the EBCDIC code page used by the host application.

Save
Tap Save option when you're done, otherwise the new session will not be created.
